Elizabeth Avery

My research interests lie in geochemistry and hydrology. Currently I am working on two projects - one in Lexington, Kentucky and one in Kyiv, Ukraine. In Kentucky, I am examining how nutrient cycling in the hyporheic zone is affected by stream restoration. In Ukraine, I use stable isotopes of water to study how precipitation patterns and surface water storage may be altered as climate change progresses.
